Brit Mott
Brit Mott is a loving mom and creative writer for JCPenney. She found her inspiration for Silly Similes from her son Liam, who continually charms the family with his imaginative ideas. In her spare time, Brit likes playing piano, photography & going to soccer games with the family. She also volunteers with the Assistance League of Coppell. Her debut children's book, Sun, Moon & Friends, was inspired by her daughter Myla.
Amber Rylant
Amber Rylant is a former librarian specializing in children’s education and development. As a homeschool mom and homemaker, she enjoys spending time with her children and managing the family farm while instilling core family values and showing the beauty of the world to her children through the exploration of nature and art.
